VCUM Kicks Off Thanksgiving Food Drive
October 31 marks the official kickoff day for the Valley Churches United Missions Thanksgiving Food Drive. This Thanksgiving VCUM anticipates over 600 households in need of help.

"Our senior clients have increased 30 percent, our adults without children has tripled, and our families with children will exceed 500 this year," said Operations Director Linda Lovelace. "Please support VCUM in any way that you can."

The Thanksgiving Project provides ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal to those in need. Youth members of the Church Of Latter Day Saints will be collecting food at the Felton Safeway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit the VCUM Emergency Food Pantry. Come in costume for a treat. Bags of food may also be brought to the VCUM Holiday Boutique on Hwy 9 at Love Creek Road. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. For more information call 831-336-8258.
